I`m a big fan of poetry jam. I`ve always said that one of the differences between poetry in English and poetry in Spanish, is that the first one was meant to be spoken, as in a conversation, while the second one was meant to be printed and read only in the depths of your mind. I don´t know why I feel this way, but I do, and I`ve tested several great poets to the test! However, watching Youtube videos on Poetry Jam session in Spain I found amazing stuff in Spanish, so maybe what is happening is that poetry itself is changing, skipping the books, grabbing you as you pass on the street!
