Panama, Casco Viejo, Casco Antiguo
We had tons of fun! With the help of textile artist Mariah Gillespie, we painted and sew our very own bag. Cutting, painting, and then trying to figure out how to use a sewing machine. I felt like one of those monkeys in Stanley Kubrick´s film, Space Odyssey touching the monolith. But at the end victory was ours and a bag was made!
Here are the photos of the “bag odyssey”. Tomorrow Mariah and Michael Lombardo will have an open studio at Santa Familia, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
