Aristologa is one of Panama`s toughest restaurant reviewers. Of course, that is not her real name, as she finds anonymity useful when walking to a restaurant (although I`ll tell you, it is quite difficult to keep secrets in such a small country!!).
Last week, Las Clementinas Café at Casco Viejo (Panama) passed her difficult test. She loved the coconut milk soup and the sea bass, probably my two favorite dishes. She liked the hamburger, but thought the cheese was a bit lost in the combination that includes caramelized onions. I have to say I actually love the hamburger precisely because of the goat cheese combination with the rest which gives it the yummy factor. But that`s just me! Try it and let us know what you think. And if you are a vegetarian, ask for the veggie burger (coming soon “officially” on the menu, right now it isn´t but ask Carlos and they`ll make it for you).
I hope next time she tries the brunch, as it has been getting quite good with almost 5 dishes coming your way along with mimosas!!!
