Like a pink monster that all it wants to do is cause you a smile, this “veranera” or bougainvillea has grown all over the place like badly combed hair. The intense pink color is an awesome, hard to ignore presence in the plaza. I mean, it really looks like if you sit too long in that bench it will swallow you!
