Panama, Casco Viejo, Casco Antiguo
The life of a diplomat is to travel every four years (or less, depending on the country) from country to country, spreading good will on each one. Their range of experiences on places to live and work is enormous.
Today, at La Prensa, there was a note about French Ambassador Hugues Goisbault leaving soon, but not before praising his lifestyle in Casco Viejo. According to the note, he will have “strong memories” from Casco Viejo, where he “felt part of the neighborhood, protected”. He recalled fondly how children in the plaza knew him, and how it was to work at the French Embassy located at Las Bovedas (French Plaza).
Would like to thank him for such heart felt words, and hopefully he`ll be back soon! Here is the full La Prensa note (in Spanish).
