Panama, Casco Viejo
Little by little, Panama is getting to be known for its cultural festivals, but very specially, Casco Viejo. First, it was the Danilo Pérez Jazz Festival, and then the Music Festival, followed by a Theater Festival (FAE) and eventually a dance week organized here and there. Some of these have grown beyond Casco Viejo and some are just getting started! this is the case of PRISMA, an independent Contemporary Dance Festival that will take place from October 24th to 29th.
Main theaters will be: National Theater and Anita Villalaz (by Las Bovedas).
The Festival will have dancers coming from Brazil, England, Mexico, USA, Spain and, of course, Panama.
