What’s the best way to discover Panama?

Moving abroad can be as scary as it is exciting. There’s something beautifully unknown about it. From navigating bureaucracy and possibly learning a new language to meeting new people and discovering a different culture, there’s a lot to take in.

That’s why many people prefer to test the waters before taking the plunge. They start small by planning a short trip to their destination of choice. Once there, they spend their days exploring the city and imagining what their lives might look like if they decided to call it home.

At Arco Properties, we understand this process. We’re always looking for new ways to innovate and improve the service that has made us a leading real estate agency in Casco Viejo. Last year, we found a new way to do just that while helping prospective residents avoid the stress of planning a trip on their own.

And how did we do it? We launched our Real Estate Discovery Tours to help people discover Panama and explore what life here could look like!

These tours, which have been taking place periodically since 2025, are designed to give participants an authentic experience and connect them with the true essence of Panama. From its stunning skyline and coastline to the culture and community that make the country unique, these tours offer the perfect opportunity to explore Panama before making any major decisions about moving or investing here.

On the first day, participants enjoy a welcoming cocktail reception with panoramic views of Panama City and its impressive skyscrapers, including some of the tallest buildings in Latin America.

The following day, they explore key residential neighborhoods while gaining valuable insights into market trends and potential investment returns. They also get to discover Playa Bonita, a beach just 20 minutes from Panama City, before wrapping up the day with sunset cocktails at Ocean Reef Islands.

On the third day, participants get to explore some of Panama’s top tourist destinations, including Playa Caracol and our very own Casco Viejo. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997, Casco Viejo remains a favorite destination among expats and people relocating to Panama. Its appeal lies in its investment opportunities, attractive property options, and unique blend of history, architecture, culture, and modern living.

The final day is the perfect opportunity for participants to ask any remaining questions and have a one-on-one conversation with an Arco Properties agent. This is their chance to address any questions that may have come up during the tour, whether they’re wondering which properties could help them qualify for the Golden Visa, if there are any upcoming pre-construction projects, or how well their lifestyle would fit with life in Casco Viejo. These conversations can help participants determine whether Panama is the right fit for them.
