Falling in love with Casco Viejo

Panama, Casco Viejo During the 80`s and 90`s Casco Viejo fell to its lower point. Completely abandoned, it created a reputation as a dangerous place, not to be visited by anyone.  In 1998, when it got designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO the revitalization process started, and today, it hosts some of the finest homes, restaurants, bars and cultural events in the city. International Film Festival Panama Launched at Clementinas

Panama`s Architecture Restoration Award goes to Hache Uve

Panama, Casco Viejo Hache Uve, one of the main restoration firms in Casco Viejo just got awarded on the “Restoration” category by Panama`s Architects and Engineers Association (SPIA). Art takes over garbage in Casco Viejo

Casco Antiguo, Panama Last Sunday, a group of eighteen artists joined from an art organization called SEMBRARTE hands with AVACA, Casco Viejo`s Friends and Neighborhood Association to create beautiful garbage cans that will be donated by this non profit to the neighborhood.
