Who doesn´t like a good story? life around us is pretty much based on storytelling (do we call that marketing now? ejemm…). Truth is, there is a very deep connection that runs through us when engaged in telling a story, something that magically and immediately ties up teller and audience, and – if good enough- manages to live through the ages, whether someone ended up writing it somewhere or not. Story telling is powerful.
This week, Casco´s Play Group started a story telling activity at Casco´s bookstore café, Papaya Planet. Initially, kids will meet twice a month, around 4:30 p.m. and stories will be read in both Spanish and English. Maybe more languages, depending on volunteers!!! if you would like to join the group, let us know!
