Panama Casco Viejo, Casco Antiguo
Three museums are joining hands in a first event called “Museum Night”: Bio Diversity Museum (BioMuseo) at Amador, Canal Museum (Casco Viejo) and Contemporary Art Museum (MAC).
The full circuit consists on a tour between the three, and it will start at 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.
The MAC will have an exhibition by Panamanian artist Manuel Adán Vásquez, and from the collective work studio Estudio Nuboso. The BioMuseo will show its permanent exhibition showing how Panama worked as a bridge for life to meet between continents. The Canal Museum in Casco will show Panama`s 1964 flag, which was used during the events of January 9th of that year, which marked an important phase for relationships between USA and Panama. Also they`ll show the documentary “A century of struggles” at 7 p.m.
The closing cocktail party with jazz will be at the American Trade Hotel starting at 8:30 p.m. until 11 p.m. for those showing tickets to the museum tours.
