American Trade Hotel just opened it`s bakery space! “UNIDO, Panama Coffee Roasters” by Panamanian chef Mario Castrellón, better known as Maito.
If you`ve been following Panama`s culinary world, you might have noticed his restaurant showing up in the top 5 no matter what the conversation is about, and with really good reasons! Maito excells at what he does, but on this project he is not alone: on “Unido” (United/ Together) he is joined by friends Alberto Bermúdez, Manuel Ferrer and Paola Reyes. Together they bring not only knowledge but also social responsibility. Unido looks to make a positive impact in the areas where they source and roast coffee, and a map at the Bakery shows not only location but their current projects. I was taken away by their passion fruit mousse. I can see where Unidos will be an amazingly dangerous addition to the neighborhood! (Place add here for join TLG Gym… now!!!).
