The Alliance Francaise is presenting for free at the French Embassy in Plaza Francia (Las Bovedas) the show “Dialogue coco- bamboo, Biodiversity, Humanity and Art” by artist Valérie Leblet. The show, which took a year to put together, will be part of a broader event featuring workshops and talks about nature and all things green.
The show is for free and the workshops are quite interesting:
Nov. 21st: Nature`s School. 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Nov. 22nd: Bamboo Workshop for adults . 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
(Note that on the 22nd there is also a nice concert at the National Theatre by the German Chamber Orchestra: Signum Quartet, it is at 8 p.m. )
Nov. 23rd: Talk from “Bicicool” , a movement that is trying to incentive the use of bicycles in the city. 6:30 p.m to 7: 30 p.m.
Nov. 24th: Healthy Kitchen, workshop and tasting! Cost: $15.
If you are interested in participating, call 223-7376. The art show will be open from Mondays to Thursdays, starting at 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. On Saturdays until 5:30 p.m.
