Chef Mario Castrellón has joined hands with Fundación Calicanto, creating the first Fonda/School in Casco, a place where the foundation´s students can learn while serving delicious food.
Yesterday we went and tried several tapas, all of them really good. My favorite were the tacos with the spicy sauce and the absolute best the chocolate cake with hot caramel sauce. They will also be serving really affordable lunches: between $5 and $7, and soups from $3.50.
